The street I grew up on exists in almost every state in the US, serving as a metaphor for our simultaneously united and divided nation. In order to challenge conceptions about identity and home, I mailed a set of postcards to a randomly selected house on every Hubbard Street. One postcard pointed to a website showing all the Hubbard Streets and the other invited recipients to mail a postcard back to me.
